How do you guys do it? I mean, short of keeping this thing covered up when it's not on, I have no idea. The finish on this thing seems to literally be a dust magnet. I don't know what else to do. I'm very impressed with it and happy overall, but the thing is just so shiny and glossy that I have no idea how it keep it looking crud-free. I even tried an quick little experimental wipe of the surface with a "Swiffer" cloth, which was a huge mistake, as little fibers from the swiffer got caught in the raised logo and made it look worse! So now I'm thinking, maybe an eyeglass cloth or something? Thanks for reading.

I use swiffer pads too, just don't wipe it over the logo.

i find it impossible. i tried a few cleaning liquids, they worked ok. I think its because its made with a heavy, shinny plastic.

Me too. Swifter-type dusters are the only way to go.

I use small hand held California Car Duster knock-off like this that I bought at the Dollar store, you've gotta cover the PS3 period when not in use :|

3M makes an anti static cleaning solution. I use it to clean my TV and PC monitor as well as other things. It seems to work pretty well keeping the dust from attracting.

Would you happen to have the part number located on the container?

This sounds like a good solution and I am like to look into this product. 3M is usually do well with their products.

I grow tire of dusting off my console and the PlayStation 3 is dust magnet!

I just leave my PS3 alone. I don't try to wipe it. Yes, it has a layer of dust over it, but it's not that big a deal. My PS3 isn't sitting out in the open at eye level, where people are really going to stare at it. When people look at it, they get a view of the usb slots on the bottom, so they don't really see the dusty top part of it.

Yeah that dust is annoying and that logo is cheap.
