In this thread, i want people to post stories about if they ever got a game and found if it was rare or uncommon. I have one of my own.
When i went to video update about 5 years back when it was selling their old SNES games still in boxes, i had first pick since i went there early. I remember rummaging through the piles looking for 2 games (my mom offered to get me) i wanted for 5 bucks each. god knows how many rarities that could have been in there, but not knowing about that yet, i grab uniracers, and ren and stimpy fire dogs. i am happy with my fire dogs choice, but who knows what else i could have gotten away with. if i only would have known. sigh. :(

Hell, just today, I saw Swordquest:Fireworld, and I thougt it was rare (as in waterworld) I bought for a dollar, but alas...

Hmmm, biggest error was not buying that complete 3DO for $50 AUS, boxed and all too and with a free game, and a step down converter!!!
Oh well, I'm an idiot....

Heck, that Swordquest thing happens to me about every week.

Lol, all I know is, I was browsing the shelf, saw the word, "world" popped a stiff, looked again, frowned, but I bought it anyways for $.99.

i've had a couple things bother me...
about 5 years ago, before i got into collecting and stuff, i sold a sega genesis with cd complete with box and all with about 20 games and 2 controllers and a complete gunstar heroes for $75. and all the games were complete in mint condition.
i bought the legend of dragoon at a pawn shop for $10. i thought it was rare. :embarrassed:
i got a complete infiltrator for nes for $3. i thought it was rare too.
at a comic book store, they had a pile of about 30 atari and intellivision games for about $1-$3 apiece. when i returned with the money for it all, only e.t the extra terrestrial was left. i bought it while hitting mydelf in the head for not going to the comic book store sooner.
i've had alot of bad breaks. :(
