Some help with Ermac, the MK character please!!!

Hi, Ermac is one of my best characters, but i don´t know anything about the history of this man. Please help me with that.

Oh... I think that was a hoax/rumor in MK or MKII, and then later on they wrote him into the game (MK3?).

I don't remember what he was though... I think one of the Lin Kuei like Scorpion and Subzero (er, is that the name? blanking out...), and I want to say gray, but that was Smoke IIRC.

Yes, Ermac it´s a Lin kuei member, but what´s his objetive in the tournament and what about his past???? @_@

I don't think they really mentioned much of his past. I do remember Ermac was in Mortal Kombat: Anniliation.

out of character, Ermac was a glitch sent into a magazine during MKI's height of popularity. I believe it was in EGM where the black Lin Kuei ninja Ermac appeared, but it was a glitched scorpion at 2-4x speed. His name came from what he was: ERror MAChine.

In character, I have no clue as to his history.

www.mk5.org used to have plenty of info on everything MK, i remember the rumors of "Error Machine" from MK 1 =)
