i was digging thru my "box of electrical wires and whatnot that are BOUND to come in handy someday" when I found an old adapter.
It's Atari brand, and states "only for use with models CX-2000/2600"

I assume the CX-2600 is the standard 2600 VCS, but... what's the CX-2000? is it a different system, or just the original woodgrain or vader models?

Yup. It would power Atari Video Pinball for example.

No, the CX-2000 was the "Value" version of the 2600, but it was never released (prototypes do exist). Funny that the adaptors mention it though...

No, it WILL power an Atari Video pinball. It uses the same as a 2600.

Don't make me come over there.... ;)
