nwc repro has arived!

AFter about a week of wondering (never got a confirmation email or anything of that nature). I was happy to find my cartridge in my mailbox.


the box was alittle crushed but overall well packaged.

The label is a little "sticky" might be from the heat but overall it looks good, the manual is fairly well made but has ALOT of typos and mistakes in it.

the game itself plays just as it should, which is all that really matters, I've been playing it for the last few hours trying differnt technicques to get the best score, thusfar i've been able to get about 450,000 consequtively by playing it the way you are "sopose" to play it, and about twice that with the smb "cheats"


I had played this back in the day at the nwc competion and lost the semi finals by about 5000 points (sucky) funnily enough now I can nearly quadruple my old scores after only an hour of playing ;-)



heres a fun challenge for anyone who has a copy, try beating smb (using warps) before the time runs out, its hard but just barely doable.

you'll get a "pleasent" surprise.


on another note MOST of the game genie codes that work on smb work on the nwc, so if you want an easier time try SUEISA on smb :-)

The last time I went to retrousb to order the NWC repo cart they were sold out, so that reminds me I have to check it out again becuase I want to buy it.

I got number 188, so he must be producing a ton happilly.

I had left the site open for weeks and checked it every now and then and one morning just go uber lucky. still waiting for a power pack ,since I have a copynes i'm thinking about getting the "lite" version as well.

Heh, this does not sound anything remotely like "luck". Determination and Persistence would be better descriptors. I got lucky, because I happened across your post saying they were back in stock only a few minutes after you posted it. So thank you! :snuggle:

Mine came yesterday. I've looked at it but haven't played it yet. Looks fantastic, dunno if it is 'sticky'. It is number 191. I also never received any sort of email, but figured I was okay after the charge showed on my CC a couple days after I ordered.

Now I'm just waiting on my Sudoku.

Yeah, sorry about the manual there. There were only a few typos in the final (a lot you say? hmmm) manual I sent to Bunnyboy, and I was disappointed to see the bottom of one whole page cut off, making that page end on a really strange note. If you want the manual that was supposed to be the final, I have the pdf and I can send it to you. It even has an humorous extra page at the end that looks like one of the old FCC warnings. I will only send it to people that have the cartridge and legitimately paid for it.

I think they just sold out of the PowerPak again as of yesterday.

The page said "AVAILABILITY: Whenever I stop delaying... :)" two nights ago. I didn't check it last night, and this morning it doesn't say that anymore, and it's listed as unavailable.

I'll never get one of the damn PowerPaks, let alone the NWC Repro.
