I am looking to get ahold of a Sega Saturn system, obviously must be working, and a model 2 (round power & reset buttons, not oval ones).

Whats the difference, besides the shape of the buttons?

Hardware buddy. Model 2 is easier to mod.

Not all Model 2''s are easy to mod. Out of three model 2s Ive had, only one is able to be modded with the most readily available modchip (from racketboy.com when he sold them, manufactured by Xinga IIRC). Avoid 64 pin IC systems if possible, and never purchase one with the atrocity that is the Sanyo PC trap board.

With that said, most model 2's have 32 pin ICs, and are easily modded with the AB solder method.
