It's that time of year, Ace is pimping his site again...

I just uploaded about 60 examples of artwork from various titles, including two games that were never released.

Timon and Pumba's Hakuna Matata Game (Unreleased) (http://www.gamerhistory.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=775)

Maui Mallard (http://www.gamerhistory.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=774)

Concept Art From Time Jumper: Mickey (Unreleased) (http://www.gamerhistory.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=773)

Gargoyles Concept Art (http://www.gamerhistory.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=772)

Various, inc. Final Fantasy (9?), Civilization 3 and Psi-Ops (http://www.gamerhistory.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=771)

I also put up a bunch of pics from some prototype Xbox1 hardware if anyone is interested in that:

I'm pretty sure that those Hakuna Matata games ended up getting released as flash games on the Disney.GO website because I remember playing some (not too long ago 04ish) flash Timon/Pumba Pinball and a Shooting Gallery game.

Are those cards just printed or actually original concept art?

A bit of both. The ones that were printed were most likely so that they could shrink the size. I was told that the originals no longer exist and that there are no other copies. Take that for what it's worth, but it seems fairly likely considering these are 13 years old already. For the ones that are lithos, it's almost impossible to tell unless you're touching them. Its incredibly high quality print

Good stuff, especially the Gargoyles setting pieces. What I like most about the art though is the general lack of understanding with regards to the intended console's technical limitations. But I understand these were just concepts to promote the idea.

That Maui Mallard chart is WONDERFUL.

What makes you think that the Final Fantasy art's from 9? It looks more like something out of Final Fantasy Tactics Advance or FFXII. The guy's helmet resembles the one worn by Gabranth (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Characters_of_Final_Fantasy_XII#Archadian_Judges) in XII, and "Judge Cid" was a character in Tactics Advance.

I've never played a single final fantasy game, but a friend told me he thought it looked like the artwork from 9. I'll make the correction.

I had to go back in and add a few missing items. Apparently my site has a bug were you can't post any images if they contain the character "8"... wtf?
