I am looking for some type of game case for loose GBA carts. I currently use one of those clear plastic cases for DS Games (Holds 6 in a small form factor), and something like this would be nice for GBA games. I'd rather have something that holds 5+ games rather than those individual clamshell cases.
Recommendations?

Some walmarts still have a black pleatherish case that holds 32. We bought about 6 last year and they are all full and we need more, but that may help you. When I find where they are stored I'll post a pic.

I have all my GBA games in these cases...

They're the closest thing to the original Nintendo GB/GBC cases that used to come with the games.
Each case holds 3 GBA cartridges and snaps shut. They used to sell these at Walmart, Target, Shopko, etc. I have no idea if any of those places still have them.

I have a bunch of these as well. Very nice clamshells. Compact and stackable storage that defeats the dust monster. :)

This another option for storing gba games. You can buy these DS cases from Nintendo that also store GBA games. Then, you can go to the The Cover Project (http://www.thecoverproject.net/view.php?cat_id=13) to get game covers for those cases.

In addition to the 3 packs mentioned above, I also use these snap cases from Mad Catz, HERE (http://www.madcatz.com/Default.asp?Page=112&CategoryImg=GBA_SP_Accessories)

I've got those and absolutely HATE them. The individuals cases never keep together. They snap together and them promptly snap apart

I got a few of those GameBlox with my MadCatz GBASP headphones. I never really snapped them together, I stored individual carts in them, and they work well for that.
These days I use those three-cart GBA holders like the ones heybtbm posted. Fun fact: I bought my first batch in a visit to Texas, and my second batch in a visit to Tennessee. NO STORE around these parts carries them anymore. Most everyone gave up on the GBA already.

I saw the DS and GBA triple cart cases at Sears (formerly a Kmart) last month. If you don't find them locally maybe try eBay for some options...

99c start, $2.74 BIN. Seller has others available with shipping discount (1st is 4.95, add-ons are 1.50 per unit shipping)
different seller, better "single buy" price:

I got these a while back. They're hinged, but the cases don't separate. Don't know if it's cuz they're NOT ball and socket, or if the solid plastic hinge just hasn't broken yet... http://cgi.ebay.com/12-NEW-CARTRIDGE-CASES-CLEAR-FOR-GBA-GAMEBOY-ADVANCE-SP_W0QQitemZ230167332939QQihZ013QQcategoryZ41036QQ ssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
For shelf storage I like the triple cases because they stack better. For grab-n-go I like the single cases.

I keep my games in the individual "hip gear" cases. But then the whole lot get's poured into a lunchbox for easy storage. I can fit like 50 games in it.

All my GB/GBC carts are stacked alphabetically on a shelf, but my GBA ones are in a ring binder filled with those plasic wallets you put trading cards in. It keeps them together and it's easy to see what I've got!

Admittedly I only have about 30 GBA games, but still...

Unfortunately there's no standardized clear clamshells for GBA games like those for Game Boy and Game Gear games. Multicolor or 3-game cases do not suit my anal retentive side. Someone already mentioned this, but I have all of my GBA games in DS cases that I picked up from Nintendo.com. It takes up more space, but they also look great with the printed cover art from the project website and are totally functional as a storage medium. I have little pleather game cases that hold 4 GBA games each that I use when I travel, but for home storage, I love the DS cases.
I'm actually considering doing the N64 cover project thing, but I don't have the space unfortunately.

How much room do you have devoted to GBA games? Can you post a pic of your GBA games setup?
You too erehwon :)

Sorry to bump an old thread, but it make more sense than starting a new one.
For those that use card holders in a 3 ring binder to hold your GBA games, I've got a few questions:
1) Do GB / GBC games fit properly or are they too big?
2) I'm afraid that the plastic card holders will somehow damage the game labels - is this something to worry about?
I'd really prefer to get a DS case for each loose GBA game (i.e. all of mine), but I really don't have the room for all those cases.

I will say that the case art covers look damn sexy next to the DS games:
http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u202/namzep69/forums/gbacases.jpg
Also, I can't see the card sheets really wearing the label down. Remember, they're made for pieces of cardboard to slide in and out of. I would guess that since they don't seem to scuff up cards they won't scuff up labels. Just a theory, though.
