Yeah, I know that's a confusing header, but I was wondering if homebrew games that recieve limited releases for consoles would be considered collectable in years to come?

I know that ones for the 2600 are becoming so, but what about other consoles?

Basically, what got me thinking about this was playing my copy of QWAK on the GBA.....ace game, only 300 made, what do you people think?

Oh yeah, info about Qwak can be found at http://www.qwak.co.uk for those who're interested.

No, I don't know the webmaster, and it's not me, and I have no vested interest in this. I just like the game and am curious!

Well, any game could be concidered as a collectible in my opinion so i would have to say yes. You have homebrew for NES, Membler's Garage Cart (or something like that) and Sudoku which are both collectibles and wanted by many NES collectors

I think Qwak will be wanted in the future, but i dont think it will be very valueable (like hundres of dollars). I own a copy of that game myself by the way. A great game i must say! :)
