I got this in a Huge lot of consoles and games... At first I thought those 2 chips were just junks in the lot (which did contain a lot of junk).. but they came bundled with those 2 "blank" carts and a parallel and USB cable, the 2 chips also have small rubber legs so it seems they were intended to be used like that...

Any idea what this could be? One fits the genesis cart perfectly and the other the SNES one...

hmmmm, pretty posative those are flash carts and flash writers.

you use the writers to flash roms from your PC onto the carts by use of the parallel port and then play them on the system. the usb cable is for power supply

personnaly i have a genesis flash writer/cart and have never been able to get my PC to be able to "talk" to the writer

Those are two of the Flash carts & writers from www.tototek.com. If you have a parallel cable, USB power cable & can download their software, you have 2 working flash cartridges for loading ROMs onto!
