What would you like to see at the Digital Press booth?

Planning, planning, planning.

I've got not just CGE to think about but also the DP booth. While this is typically managed in fine fashion by the likes of Dave "Arcade Antics" Giarrusso, Larry "retrogmr" Anderson, Kevin "kevates" Staszkow, and others, I like the actual booth content to change every year, so you never know what to expect. Last year we were primarily a "selling" vendor, with hundreds of SNES, Genesis, NES, etc titles on hand. This year I'd like to host contests, and be more of an "entertainment" booth.

I've given some thought to stuff like a Guitar Freaks contest, Family Feud, Jeopardy (we still have the board ready to go) and more, and naturally all of these things will have a twist of some kind to reflect our off-beat style =)

But I'd like to hear what YOU would like to see at our booth this year.

When Project DP (YOU know what I'm talking about Joe...) is ready for CGE, I say we make that an entertainment function as well. Easily turned into a game show at the booth and a sales pitch, all in one!

Our "Typing of the Dead Challenge" would go over quite well I'd think, with all the side bets and all. Oh, and the loser has to drop trou in front of the crowd. ;)

Heh, we were supposed to have the challenge last year but I ended up not going. Joe and I had a little wager going on where the loser would drop trou for the winner. Adding the crowd in adds a little more incentive. ;)

2) Guides.
3) Exclusive guides- perhaps a binder bound offering of the latest newer lists?
4) Every issue of DP in one indexed bound book. Ever think of doing that?
5) An exclusive release.

Perhaps those are just my (poorly thought out) requests for DP and the guide in general.

Hell, I may live up to my bumpkin pedigree by saying this but I've never been to (1) Vegas, or (2) that far west in the United States. So between that and all those games, I'll probably be more wide-eyed than usual. O_O
