View Full Version : Wireless NES pad won't work?

I got a couple of wireless NES pads the other day. The first one is one of those Acclaim ones, and it works well. But the other is a QuickShot Wizmaster Game Controller, and it doesn't seem to work at all. I was wondering if anyone knows what could be wrong with it... the pad seems intact, but switching it on doesn't do a thing.

And I used new batteries on this. It just isn't doing anything.

Any ideas?

Well, I don't have the wireless Wizmaster, but the QuickShot Wizmaster (and I'm assuming the same goes for the wireless one) was released for multiple consoles, and came with two parts, the controller itself, and the cable (and likely infra-red part) on the front in the middle, which is detachable and interchangeable. My guess would be that either the controller is defective, or the wireless part (not receiver) on the controller is only compatible with the Atari/etc version of the controller (if it is detachable...if not, then the controller is likely defective).

Both items (the pad and the receiver) have the same model number. :( They should be compatible.
