It's Saturday the 13th in October. Where should you be? Bentonville, Northwest Arkansas of course. Besides it always being the place to be, it's even more so when you get to hang out with your favorite southern DPers like... me! Flack! Grimbal! 98PaceCar and more!

Being held at the wonderful Ice pad, there are plenty of things to see and do like...

Play!:

- Awfully bad games from all eras! By unpopular demand, we're bring back the 'how long can you play this bad game' contest!

- Pretty much any console from the ancient era to modern era... including computers!

See!:

- An obsessive amount of Commodore stuff, including a C-One!

- The horrors that are the RCA Studio II!

- More people than at that other recent 'gaming show'

We got a guest room upstairs (with a bed even!) for those who need to crash here, an uncomfortable to anyone but me futon in the game room, a few couches and plenty of floor space! Admission of course, is always free.

If I come in on Friday, I won't be getting there till pretty late (midnight or so). You gonna leave the front door open for me? I was also going to see if Flack wanted to carpool since my new truck gets all of 13 mpg, no sense in both of us working to destroy the environment when one will do just fine!

This part sounds awesome! You should definitely bust out the Jag and play a little (or a lot of) Air Cars and Fight for Your Life.

I can be there as early as 9-10AM-ish, but it depends on if you guys were planning on going thrifting beforehand or not. No sense in trekking all the way out there that early if that's not part of the gameplan. :P

Sounds like a plan - early morning hunting for those who show up early. Not sure how that'll work but since this area isn't *that* big, most people can catch up with the group fairly easily.

Darren: Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to bring me at least 4 cases of Dr. Pepper with sugar in bottles. I'll pay you back of course.

As for hunting around here, a bit of forewarning - we don't have 'thrifts' really in the traditional sense. They're more like antique shops so it's best to hit the pawn shops, the occasional thrift store, and the Vintage Stocks/Game Xchanges.

Ok, I've got everything for Brian all ready to go, but is there anything that anybody else is looking for that I can bring up? LMK in the next day or so and I will see what I can do.

Also, I'm going to need to drive back home on saturday instead of sunday as planned, but I'll be there for as much of saturday as I can.
