I'm up for some HD gem-bustin' as Mexistrat 3000. I haven't messed with Y or Z mode that much, but there's always X. And Dan vs Dan matches. Anyone else? Figured I'd ask before I spent the cash to upgrade my Live account!

My gold subscription lapsed and I realized that I never play anyone online. I played Kamino in Doom once, and I played Texas Hold em a few times. I can still compete with my friends in high scores, and that's good enough for me.

I figure i'll be buying it at some soon point, but its not been plunked down for yet. I'm working my way through a bunch of other crap for their online achievements, not to mention that this XBL game called AstroSmash (Magical Drop clone) has kidnapped my wife and our tv.

I'm playing almost everyday at this point. Was up to 85th in the world until a string of losses crippled me. I'm down to 500.
Gamertag is the same as my DP ID.

I definitely will still be playing. :D
Just tried online against a friend of mine last night, we were neck-and-neck for 7 X matches, I ended up winning 5 of them. God this game is great.
Does anyone know how the Hell you play as Hsien-Ko's sister or Anita? I remember that secret from the PSX and Saturn versions, and my friend saw someone online as Hsien-Ko's sister.

You don't. She appears briefly when you hold the bumpers down before selecting Hsien-Ko. She then dissappears and becomes the little Tofu guy.

Yep, she's the little tofu guy/little talisman girl. Amazing how much Capcom trivia I remember after all these years. Both bumpers, then? Thanks.

I'm going to sound like a complete n00b for saying this, mainly because I am when it comes to this game, but how come just about everyone I play online picks Hsien-Ko?

The pattern that she drops garbage blocks in is very hard to plan around. At a certain point some characters are actually better to use than others (well, everyone is always better than Dan) Hell I think both of my losses last night were when I played as Ryu.
