I'm a wii360 owner and happy but machine wise I love the PS3 and when the games start coming I'll get one.
360 is at present the best and far better than its predecessor (except in terms of reliability/quality hardware) lots of great games and the online factor is excellent.
Wii so far for me has been a bit of a joke all I've played are warioware, mario party 8 and alot of virtual console stuff. I'm hoping nights into dreams and super smash bros (especially) will help make it worthwhile
I don't have or care for the wiisports etc
when 360 doesn't shit out it's the best system around. I can't wait to get mine back from Texas. I currently own a PS3 as well, which I'm just getting into.
I'm not as thrilled about the Wii anymore, there are only a handful of titles I have any interest in.

360 is my hands down fave.
It's third on my list of all time favorite consoles. Right after the Dreamcast and Intellivision.

The PC! It is basically the Xbox 360, but improved. Every great Xbox 360 title has been brought over to the PC so far, in improved form.
The PS3 is cool from a technological perspective, but the game selection is not so good.
I am waiting for Nintendo to bring their magic touch the Wii; so far it has been slow going. Once Smash Bros. and Mario Galaxy are released I am sure the pace will pick up, though.

360 hands down.
Other than that, PS3 > Wii.

I love my 360.
If I buy another system it will be a wii "Overclocked gamecube if you prefer"
PS3.... heh. Why does it remind me of 3do? Oh thats right costs a fuck ton and has shit for games.

PS3 doesn't have great game selection YET, but I'm enjoying the 2 games I own (Oblivion/Enchanted Arms), some demo's (Resistance/Heavenly Sword/Folklore) and rentals (Untold Legends/Harry Potter OOTP). DVD upgrading is nice, HD and Bluray are AWESOME!
I won't consider a 360 until hardware issues are addressed. I haven't had an Xbox previously.
Wii Sports I might like, but I'm not sure about anything else. I'd rather "throw" a fly rod than a wiimote.
My PSP sees the most action, and I like my DS Lite, too.

Right now I have to say it's the Xbox 360 especially since the Game Library is above and beyond ever other system and it also has a great online service than the PS3 is close behind because it's a great system that needs better games and finally the Wii which is a mediocre system that will eventually improve but right now it's so meh.
All in all though it's a great generation to be a gamer, all three systems are really good but I just think the PS3 has the most potential.

I'm a Wii60 guy, but I'm only playing my 360 of the two. I love it -- I think it'll end up being a classic system and the controller is the best ever made (#2 - Saturn pad). I'd like to see more RPGs on the system and some quirky/cool titles, but it's really got a shitload of great titles so far any looks like many more coming down the pike.
I'll get a PS3.... eventually. Not now, though -- too damn expensive + no games. Well, none I don't already own, pretty much.

360.
PS3 and Wii are about the same for me. Both nice, but only have like one or two games I'm interested in.

I own them all, but I still play Wii Sports the most, and I got it (the system) the day it launched!
True success story with me!
I do like my PS3 second, and my Xbox 360 last, but Halo 3 will probably change all that....hopefully!

For the Time the PS3 wasn't out I was really digging the 360 even though it died in Dec 2005 and then again in august 2006, but after PS3 came out, I still kept on playing the 360 and then my Live Expired and I switched over to PS3.
I dunno about everyone else but I think Resistence Multiplayer SUCKED! so I bought Oblivion on PS3 and I was amazed how well it runs on PS3, thats why I started to move away from 360 and started to realise how loud it was and I started to just get turned off. So from then on I just get multiplatform ports on PS3, been playing Ninja Gaiden + WarHawk + RainbowSix and after Warhawk I have no desire to get Xbox Live Gold again.. simple not worth the money. I keep hearing that BioShock is good so I might get BioShock on it. other than that the 360 hasn't been turned on in a while.
Also I got Wii 3 weeks ago and its total shit, I am not impressed at all. The old games are waaaaay over priced. Secondly the grpahics suck and prety much every Third Party game is a mini game fest. I am 18 hours in Zelda and I bought Ocarina of Time fromthe Online Shop. Part of me says to sell the Wii but then Mario Galaxy is coming out this year. (No Intrest in Metriod as I hated the ones on GameCube).
So I would say that Right now PS3 and then the 360 since I am getting Heavenly Sword next week and I am playing Lair right now...
But at the start it was definitely 360 over PS3.

Definately my 360 gets my #1 vote, the ps3 a VERY distant second, and my wii, whenever I run it, which isn't often, although with MP3 I will be giving that some attention soon enough. As far as the consoles go, I know people knock the 360 and its more than well deserved, but it is a fun console with all the best games, the ps3, has some and will get more in the future, its definately in a gamers best interest to own, both. As for the Wii, I kinda don't get the hype, and how its selling out everywhere, but to each his own. Maybe someday I will understand the secret of Wii.

I like the Wii the best. Nothing on any of the three systems has totally bowled me over just yet, but of this generation's titles Trauma Center: Second Opinion and Kororinpa: Marble Mania have been my favorites so far. I've got a soft spot for the mini games collections, too, to tell the truth, although I don't play them nearly as much as the above two.

I am NOT a fan of online games. Never have been never will!
Too much of an arcade gamer in me, I guess.
Yes, I have tried many aspects of online gaming, so I don't need countless emails and PM's or replies telling me how good it is. I personally HATE it!
I loved the RESISTANCE FALL OF MAN single player mode! I thought it was much better than Gears of War!
Keep in mind, these are only my opinions.

I only own a Wii so I guess my answer to the question is obvious. I would have picked up a 360 by now if it wasn't a crap shoot. If the 65nm Falcons are fixed then I might bite but, I could wait 2 or 3 years more. I've written the PS3 off completely, at least until it pulls out of the downward spiral it's on and starts selling for a realistic price. I'm not holding out any hope of that occuring though. At least my PS2 is still going strong. :)

FOr me the 360 experiance has been the hands down best for me. The xbox live arcade the fluid downloads the interface and the games.
The ps3 has really not shown me anything yet. I wait with baited breath. the games that seem to come out are ports that are already availible on the 360 at a cheaper price nontheless. The online interface is to primitive for me. Maybe they should have stole the blade idea. Resistance and motorstorm were for me the only must buy and there it sits an occasional fire up. I am thinking about boxing it up until some real releases come out. Formula 1 was nice. Where are the kick ass must have first party games.
The wii has also been dormant for awhile until metroid. The metriod game is awesome and I need more but until metroid it was collecting dust.
I really don't like buying on potential. The ps3 and Wii need to step it up.

as a gamer who dislikes PC gaming and 99,9% of all FPS's in general, I went for the WiiPS3 combo. I'm more in to the Japanese action/rpg genre and these consoles will deliver that.
until the PS3 comes with good action RPGs I'll mostly use it as a BR player and PS2 with upscaling capabilities for my 40" LCD HDTV and keep playing my SNES and PC-Engine. Super Mario World on 40" rules :)

I'm in with the Wii60 combo. 360>Wii>Ps3.
It's all about the games. ;)

Wii, definitely. The 360 has been out longer and has more games, but its library just doesn't do it for me. Everything on 360 seems like a commitment; it's lacking in "pick up and play" type games (not that I exclusively play such games, but I do like 'em). I did like Table Tennis, but I bet the upcoming Wii version will be better.
If Wii games are just Gamecube games with funky controls, then 360 games are just Xbox games with better graphics. I'm not super impressed with 360's graphics, and I don't own an HDTV anyway. Also, it seems like everything on 360 is the super-mainstream stuff that I didn't care for last-gen -- EA sports and racing, GTA type games, FPS, etc. None of it really stands out to me, with a tiny number of exceptions. And some of the games that I was interested in were let-downs -- in particular, I was disappointed with Import Tuner Challenge, Kameo, and Sonic the Hedgehog.

None of them. So far, this console generation has been a complete fucking disaster.
I purchased an Xbox 360 during the dreaded launch season for one reason: Oblivion. Of course, that was pushed back and I was left with Perfect Dark Zero. :bad-words:
So now, nearly two years later, Oblivion and many other games are out in the wild, and we see exactly what kind of console Microsoft has given us. Oblivion, Prey, Dead Rising and Bioshock often crash or freeze. Consoles die with alarming regularity, and absolutely worst of all, the early adopters get fucked in the ass in regards to HD output options, hard drive space, and cost.
We then have the PS3. I'm lucky that I got mine with the PS2 chip set built in, before they stopped making it; yet again, screwing over the early adopters. Games and hardware are more reliable, but there's nothing to play on it. The Sixaxis is a bad joke so far, in nearly every way, and the XMB is probably the least comfortable and least intuitive media interface of the current crop of consoles. The console is further burdened by the Blu ray format, the longevity of which is far from guaranteed, which sort of calls the whole 'viable for ten years' idea behind the console into question.
And last, but not least, we have the Wii, which is almost in it's own little category. It really isn't fair to compare it to the other two consoles, since it isn't designed with the same audience or goals in mind, but I'll say that I beat Twilight Princess, played through most of RE4(...again) and haven't touched it since. There just isn't enough games I'm interested in on the console, either already released or on the horizon, and most 'retro' games available on the Virtual Console that I would want to play are games I already own on the original hardware.
So... I'm positive that the next year or so will have me singing a different tune on one or all of the current crop of hardware, but as it stands, I'm disappointed in the state of consoles so far. When I've gone through 3 of one console and have literally no reason to even turn the other two on, it's time to investigate the new PS2 or DS releases and forget about the crap gathering dust in the gaming room.....

The Wii. I've been playing it almost nonstop since launch. I picked up a 360 last spring, and while I played through Gears, a lot of NCAA08 and some XBLA stuff, I haven't turned it on in weeks. It's not even plugged in right now. XBLA does rock, but the Wii is more fun for me. I don't see that changing, either. Ouside of Bioshock and maybe Oblivion, I can't think of another 360 game I'll even buy through the end of the year. The Wii has more games coming out than I can afford.
Overall, though, this generation hasn't had the excitement of previous ones. Even though I like my Wii, it doesn't have *the* game yet that really shows off the wiimote (lightsabre game, weapon-heavy RPG, etc). Outside of XBLA, the 360 has been pretty disappointing. The library has a lot of well-reviewed games, and I can see why people like it, but for some reason they just don't appeal to me. Too many sequels, and games that are the same style of games I've been playing for 10 years. PS3 isn't even on my radar.

PlayStation 3 FTW!!!
I've had a 360, two of them actually both of which have broke. I kind of gave up on the system, it was my favorite until this summer.
I don't own a Wii, but my parents do, and while I love the Wii Sports disc, there isn't much else to excite me(until SSB:B is released).
I recently picked up a PS3, after trading in my 360/games toward it. And I love the system, MotorStorm is AWESOME, and I am also enjoying the stellar port of Oblivion. True the system needs more games and the siaxis(?) thing is a damn joke, but I feel the PS3 will be the winner in the long run. :)

The 360 is by far the most solid performer so far this generation. However I do admit that I find myself spending more and more time with the PS3, but we really do need to see some more titles for it. Oh, and the Wii, well that is there because sometimes nongamers come to the house...
