ANyone know when this is supposed to release? AS much talk as I heard about this, I can't find any release info on it, and Sony said it would come out sometime next month? I'm still shocked these did not come with it. Totally unexpected after all the hype last month.

I am not sure if a plain AV cable will exist. I know of the component one for sure...

"Usually ships in 4 to 6 weeks', why do they have to make this complicated??

Jason, I've seen the cables here in San Diego at our local Fry's Electronics... they're $19.99 for regular A/V, S-Vid, and Component... I'm sure they should be poppin up by now(I saw these 2 days ago)..

Hmm, if I had one of these PSP's, I wonder what video cable I would get.....

Normally, I would go with component, but I think the real value of the video out, is to use it on vacation at Hotels and stuff like that. So, the composite cable might actually make the most sense.

I still wish this redesigned PSP had a little plug on it, for a dualshock dongle, so you could actually plug a Dual Shock controller into it, and just have your PSP sitting by the TV. Video out is a great idea, but not so much if I have to use the PSP itself as the controller.

Well you couldn't output games then, you'd need a progressive scan tv for that.

I saw the regular A/V cables out at my local Target tonight. Didn't have a price on the rack, but at least they have the cables.
