I found one of these for $95 with 2 games and 2 controllers. Should I buy it? Or look for a cheaper one? I have never seen one of these outside commercials.

I don`t know how many were made available to public exactly, but it wasn`t many during the Mountain Dew promo. I had enough Dew Points to get one when they became available & they were gone in a matter of seconds. If I didn`t have an Xbox already, I`d pay $95 for it. If it comes complete with the box & paperwork, then definitely!

What are the two games? (though I doubt they'll change the price much)

A regular Xbox around here goes for anything around $60-80 with 1-2 controllers and no games (yeah, I bet it's cheaper online to buy a system + games). As for a limited edition Dew, I have no clue.

If it were me I'd buy it if it still works good. I'm looking to get an Xbox soon and I'm expecting to pay around $70 for a good used one with maybe a few accessories, for a limited edition Mt. Dew Xbox I'd definitely go higher. Although personally I like the Halo Xbox much more.

They are rare but not extremely rare. There always seems to be atleast one for sale at any given moment on ebay. Did you check there? Here are some recently completed. Most of the time they don't seem to get that much more than normal the normal Xbox. I would imagine this will change with time.

its been posted many times 5000 were made but who knows how accurate this is. If you are really curious try contacting Mountain Dew.

It comes with Jet Set Radio Future and Ninja Gaiden Black.

Sounds like a good deal to me. Normal Xboxes go for aroun 80$-90$ CDN around here, and Ninja Gaiden Black goes for 30$ at EB still.

Go for it!

Yeah, I'd probably do $95 for it if I were you. As for how many were made, 2000 were initially released with the Mountain Dew promotion, but due to its popularity, 2 additional runs, each of 2000, were produced and consequently sold (I guess if you can call it that). Boxed ones seem to be decently rare...or maybe it's just illusory rarity, as the two presently running on eBay are the first two I've seen available practically since they were new...

I've seen them on ebay many times over the past year, but not once have I seen one complete in box with original paperwork. If you can find one complete, snatch it up while you can.
