And it's still $19.99. November 19th is the release date and the game it comes with is "Link's Crossbow Training" which is just a resemblence to Zelda Twilight Princess, but in mini-game form.
Good work Nintendo, now you're gonna make everyone go crazy just like when Wiiplay first came out. Yet the fact that it's a ZELDA game included, it's just going to be a better challenge to find.

You're kidding right? Here I thought the Wii (Which I bought on launch day) would actually become respectable on November 12 when Mario Galaxy and Resident Evil Chronicles come out. But a week later, Nintendo has to screw everything up, with yet ANOTHER FUCKING MINI-GAME!

I had a feeling Nintendo would do something like this with the Wii Zapper. Awesome news.

I guess it's good that the thing comes with a game for so cheap, but honestly, what it the point. The remote makes a good enough "zapper" by itself. I thought the whole point of the remote was that it could be used in several "gimmicky" or specialized manners without any extra accessories. And now they have at least two useless accessories coming out.
Also, the zapper is completely backwards. Why is the trigger in the front??? NO actual gun is set up with this configuration, as far as I know, and it will probably be really awkward to fire.

Accesories with games, and accesories with games that are cheap. This is great news.

I keep telling myself that there's no point getting a Wii 'cos I'll get bored of it within a week and don't have the energy for it all*. But then Nintendo keep releasing cool shit like this and Metroid 3. Hmm, I can see me getting myself one for Xmas.
*You should see my mate hurling himself round the room playing Wii Tennis, grunts and all. Funniest thing I've ever seen.

Oh boy,
Nintendo loves demand and supply issues... don't they!
Assuming this is true!

Precisely what I was thinking. I mean, they already have cheap plastic shells for the Wiimote that turn it into a gun.

"Hey, sweet, a new Zelda game! Awesomesauce!"
"What's that chunk of plastic bundled with it"
"I dunno" *tosses away Zapper*
Let's face it, it's a $19.99 Zelda title that comes with a Wii Zapper.
And yes, I'm gonna buy it. *L*

I don't know, I can't wait to play GHOST SQUAD with that "chunk of plastic."

Nintendo saw how many of those shells sell out of Hong Kong and said, "Um, we need to get in on this... NOW!" All they have to do is put 5 minutes worth of design into the project and I'm sure they can ace any currently available gun shell out there. With the addition of the Zelda game at the same price as the HK stuff after shipping (in some cases, even less) they have just added 10 million sales to this quarters report. :)
I bought WiiPlay and I still play Tanks and the shooting game. Totally worth the $10 for the software. The Zapper is an equal no-brainer purchase IMO. I'll be pre-ordering... damn November is going to eat my wallet! LOL
