DP books versus Online rarity guide

Are the books much more detailed and accurate, wondering if they're worth the $$

they surely are worth the $. you have all systems in one book, which you can read wherever you want AND you have all information handy and don't have to search online all the time.
i have both guides and it's always a good read - I even flip through systems I don't own just for curiosity.

If I were you I would hold off a little bit. I think their next book is about to come out within a year. The current book for 8 bit games is 4 years old.

In that case holding out isn't really worth it, as the only one coming out in the forseeable future is the new 8 bit edition.
