Everyone has one. You wanted the whole set, it was the odd one out in a series you love, your a completest. For whatever reason everyone has that one game you own but can't stand. Which one is yours and why.

Mine is Street Fighter 2010. God I hate the game. It is Capcom so I have to have it if I am to complete my collection, but lord almighty does it suck. I really wish Capcom had just sacked it like Rasians but oh well.

Edit- 2010, I knew that, really......

Are you talking about Street Fighter 2010 sir? Because I have a certain spot in my heart reserved for that game. One of the few NES titles that let you do combos on RED FLYING SCORPION MUTANTS.

Of all my games I probably like Zelda II the least.

Rex Ronan: Experimental Surgeon is the least-loved title in my collection, though it's good for a laugh. It's also up for trade/sale if anyone wants it.

I try and I try but I just can't like that shitty Evil Dead game for dreamcast.

I picked that one though, just because I can't pick my entire collection of Vis games. All of them are far worse then any other game ever.

Radical Physco Machine Racing for the SNES. Alaso known as RPM Racing.
.....uhhhh........urrrggg...........terrible. :puke:
If you havent played it, go download thr rom, and prepared for pain. Absolutley no control, no fun factor, crap graphix, zero gameplay. Worst game ever!

Also, I second Rex Ronan: Expiermental surgeon. That game is bad, but at least it is funny. When you read the into, i could swear that someone just made it up. I had to probve to my friend that I didnt make it up. Heres a jist of what he said:
"So, wait, there is a anti-smoking game? Where a guy that works for 'blackburn' cigarette company gets deathly ill from smoking his own cirgarettes, and can only turn to an expiermental surgeon? Named Rex Ronan? Who shrinks himself down, so he can fit into his body, and stop the nictine caused diseases? But wait, It gets lamer? Inside his body, there are tiny robots? why are there robots?
"because the cigarette company didnt want people to know that cigarettes hurt you, so they implanted tiny robots called 'microbots' into Jake's body. They are there to try to stop Rex Ronan now they he is inside Jake's body"
So.......lame........... :puke:

There is a code that lets you play the game without the mode 7, so it is an overhead view, where the entire field is flat. When you play it like this, it's exactly like Super Sprint, only ten times cooler. They should have released it like that.

Hey, I enjoyed Xena on PS1! I actually played through the whole game (it's not that long)! I really liked the "behind the ring" view when you let that sucker fly. Something about guiding a steel blade across a field and into a bad guy's throat... I couldn't get enough of the game! The final battle was a memorable one, too.

And I'm gonna pretend I didn't even SEE ScooterB's comments above @_@

I'm gonna say "NFL Quarterback Club" for the Sega Dreamcast. I never liked the series but unfortunately in order to complete the DC collection I had to get not one but TWO of these. I even opened up 2001 to see if maybe I had harshly judged it based on its predecessors. Nope, it sucks. Or maybe I'm just spoiled by the likes of Madden and GameDay.

I might! I'm looking or Brian Lara's Cricket, and I think there's a Rugby game released in Europe that wasn't released here either. And if you have any Japanese Mega-Drive baseball games, I'd be interested in those as well. The one I have was translated into the first Sports Talk Baseball for the US and it lost ALL of its charm in the process.

Let me know.

Turok 2: Seeds of Evil for GBC - frustrating, boring and unentertaining. Damn I hate it! Plus I invested so much time into it thinking it might get better as I progressed. Pah!

E.T. for 2600 also should get a mention - but this gives me a few laughs so it's not all bad.

Hi-Octane for Saturn is probably on par with Turok 2. I played this once on the day I got it - and never again! It could've been good, except that the pop-up occurs basically on the front of your vehicle and the frame rate is pathetic. What a stinker. I might check out the PSX or PC version to see if they're any better - it pisses me off so much to see a good idea screwed up so badly!

Oh and DP! I recently saw Brian Lara's Cricket for Mega Drive a couple days ago for $5 AUS (boxed with manual). I passed over it though. It's probably not so rare in Australia since Cricket is such a big and popular sport over here.

I'll keep an eye out for the original, and International Rugby (by Domark). I'm sure I've passed over both of them dozens of times.

Arcade Classics (Centiped, Missile Command, Pong) for the Genisis. This is by far the biggest pile of crap geared toward retro gamers. The fact that they even put the word ARCADE in the title really pissed me off, these didnt even do the 2600 versions justice. >:(

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Bubsy 3D yet. I liked the first SNES game but each followup has been worse than the one before it and this one is just painful. What's even more laughable is the fact that one magazine actually liked it and gave it an incredibly high score (somewhere in the 90's on a scale of 1-100. What were they smoking that day?

Beyond the Beyond for the PS1. A "friend" told me how great it was. How fun it was. How it was so much better then any of the FF games. I bought it for 10$. I played it. Even got 3/4 thru it. I broke my controler because I hated the game so much. I have tried to sell it though. I have loaned it to friends and family who were interested in it. Each and every one of them refused to buy it afterwords. I cant even sell it to gamestop! Tried once and the guy working said I would have to pay them to take it. Bad graphics, worse story, and basicly a very BAD showing of how great the PS1 was soposed to be. Sony should have went with Arc the Lad as the first RPG on the system over this. Sure Arc 1 was short. Atleast it played better!

On the NES, that goes to NARC. Should I bust them? Or should I shoot them? If I bust them, they may drop a bag of coke! Yum....coke...
Wait, I'm a cop! Must be a dirty cop if I'm carrying all those bags of coke around with lots and lots of rockets for a rocket launcher.

puzzle fighter is just not my type of puzzle game, its not so much about skill or technique , its who can pull off a combo first so that the other persons screen is filled with 5 turn counter blocks that by the time they become normal blocks your already dead. im a magical drop/bust a move type puzzle gamer.

TIME COMMANDO for the Sega Saturn (only came out in Japan, came out in the States for PSone)

This game SUCKS. The character models use about 10 polygons and are all the one color. Terrible control. Total crap.

Death Crimson (Saturn again) is also quite dreadful. The Dreamcast sequel is 1000x better.

Cheers. I'm off work due to the weather! :D

Bad graphics, worse story, and basicly a very BAD showing of how great the PS1 was soposed to be.

At least it has good music. And similarities to Shining Force that make me feel gooey inside. The only issue is if it's worth playing through for those qualities. A so-so action game is worth playing if it has good music or something else cool about it, but a long-ass RPG is a different story. That's the problem I have with Final Fantasy 7. I can't stand the game, but I do like a handful of songs. I'm not about to replay it any time soon to hear the music again, though.

As for my least favorite game in my collection, I have a lot of stinkers, but most are welcome in my collection for one reason or another. If I had to pick something, I'd go with Magmax for NES, Home Alone for SNES, and Tomb Raider for PSX. Loads of crap, all of them. Magmax pissed me off because I wasn't expecting something THAT horrible, and Home Alone is not only wretched to play but it's also terribly frightening and embarassing when that damn kid screams. Tomb Raider is just... ick... I'm kind of ashamed to have a Tomb Raider game, but I got it for free. o_O

Don't be ashamed to own the original Tomb Raider... that was an AWESOME game in its day. It's very dated now with jerky controls and blocky graphics, and the sequels have certainly done the series no favors, but the first offering was unlike anything I'd seen before. I remember a bunch of friends would just come over, get wasted, and watch me play. The "ooohhhh....." factor was very, very high. It hasn't aged well AT ALL, but it was incredible upon its initial release.

My 2 cents.

Cheers

State of Emergency. Hand's down. I was so excited for this game when it first came out. I preordered it. Played it for about 5 minutes. Realized that the only really cool thing was lobbing grenades into store windows. Sold it for a copy of Secret of Mana. Then, about a year later, I saw it in a pawn store for $5 and decided to try it again. Yep, it still sucked.

Worst game in the collection...

I have two.

Time Stalkers for Dreamcast. It's not the fact that you don't keep your level when you exit the dungeon, it's the fact that your monsters don't keep their levels when you exit the dungeon.
You might be thinking this is dumb, but to me it's not. I loved Azure Dreams. I thought this would be just like it, where you never stay leveled up but your monsters do. I just thought it was so stupid that Time Stalkers couldn't do that.
Also, the battle system is crap.

And... Seaman... Which I just got today :o
I like the the idea of raising a fish and watching it evolve.. I just think this wasn't done very well. I don't like the controls, and even though it's supposed to be real as can be, I don't like that I have to wait days for it to evolve and if I miss some days, he'll die.

My LEAST favorite games in my collection.

Well, I can't list just one (it too hard to pick just one), but I can list the least favorite for the systems I own (and that I want to list a bad one for - some systems don't have really bad games):

Atari 2600:
Sneak'n Peek - what a poor excuse for a game (makes ET look good - and I mean that too).

Bally:
Tic-Tac-Toe - I'm sorry, but this game should not be released for any system!

ColecoVision:
Cosmic Avenger - I just don't like this damn thing. Don't know why, but it sucks.

Genesis:
Dracula, Bram Stoker's - Ack! Phew! this is as almost as bad as you can get with a game. What were they thinking!

Invellivision:
Donkey Kong - Coleco went out of their way to make this piece of crap!

Atari Jaguar:
Checker Flag - I personally can't believe they took a cool Lynx game and just totally destroyed it. Stupid, stupid Atari!

Atari Lynx:
Pit Fighter - the worst fighter game I've even had to play. I collector for Lynx, so I had to have this one. Sorry I do, but it is part of my collection now. Just glad I didn't pay much for it.

Odyssey2:
Computer Golf - now I'm a big fan of the Odyssey2 (as most who know me would realize), but this game just plain sucks. It's worse than Helicopter Rescue in my book. Yuck!

Well, that's my horrible game list. Nothing too modern, as I haven't had a bad modern game (yet).
