I just acquired some brand new nes games. I have duplicates of everything. Was wondering if anyone knows what they are worth (on average). Thanks!

1) Ice Hockey (sealed)
2) Pinball (sealed)
3) Donkey Kong Classics (sealed)
4) Zelda 2 (sealed)
5) NES Advantage Controller (never opened)

Those are not cheap sealed games if they are legit. Do they all have the seams and did you check to make sure none are reseals (check the flaps etc)? Also is zelda the classic series or the original release? What condition are they all in?

Yes, they are all factory sealed. I have full cases of the games in their original packaging boxes (6 games each and 3 of controllers). I opened up the zelda package and they are the original release. They are all pretty much in mint condition since they were in their original shipment boxes, which is a good thing as there are no price stickers.

I acquired them from a relative that works for Pepsi. They had these sitting for several years from a previous promotion. They called a local game store and offered to give them away for free and the game store didn't want them. They were then going to throw everything away. My uncle told them that he'd take them and gave it all to me today. It seems to be an excellent find, however I don't know what any of it would be worth.

looks like you have several 1000$ worth of games there, sealed zeldas alone go for quite a bit

I'll try to get some pics taken within the next few hours. I have an old crappy webcam so it won't be the clearest pics, but I'll see what I can do. And to think that I thought everything was only worth like $10-$30 each. heh

Any actual figures for the items? I know everyone is saying Zelda 2 is probaby worth the most but around how much $20...$50,...$100,...$500? Also is the controller worth anything more than say 10 bucks?

I took some pics. I don't know how to upload them here, so I have a page dedicated to them here:

Not the best pics, but I did try to concentrate on some of the seals.

Hello and nice to meet you. I would like to extend an exclusive offer your way. I am royalty from an African country and my prince son wouls like to buy your games. However he is away on school. I will trade you a small piece of my kingdom for the games. I will send you a check and in return all you must do is send the games with $5000USD cash.

But seriously, nice find, very nice.

If I were you I'd contact Bronty. Have him sell the games for you and pay him a % of the sale. He always gets a premium over all other sellers because he just does it better than anyone and the buyer trust him. If you are going to try and sell them yourself make sure you let us know here.

Thanks to everyone for their kind input. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it. I think I'm still in shock of what it's worth. I'll probably keep one or two of everything and sell or trade the rest. I will let everyone know within the next day or two of what my plans will be.

The sale thread from last year and the problems resulting from it may have had something to do with the long disappearance.

Another reason to have someone else sell it for him.

I've finally decided what I am going to do. I decided to keep 2 zelda's and one of everything else. The rest I will either sell or trade. So I am letting everyone know I am open to all offers. Limit 1 of each per person (so that more people get a chance to enjoy the games).
