original game boy games....
Im looking for a great quick, pick up and play gameboy game, something i can enjoy for a few minutes while im taking a dump. Sports titles are great, and im thinking Tennis is a good candidate? I've been playing Baseball, but im looking for something new.

If you can find it, Mario's Picross is IMO the best all around B&W gameboy game. Very addictive, simple, and easy to pick up and play a puzzle then turn the thing off.

Flipull. It's a really great early Gameboy puzzler and a perfect "bio-break" game. Easy to get in and out of. It might be sort of hard to locate by itself but it frequently shows up on pirate multi-carts.

Kirby's Dream Land and its' sequels are definately fun for quick-fix platformers. KDL2 is pretty difficult compared to the first one, but a really fun ride.

Super C and Donkey Kong are great "pick-up'n'play" games that I keep in some of the Game Boys on display in my Handheld Cabinet... :)

That's exactly what I was going to say! Mario's Picross is definitely a game you can just pick up and play for a few minutes. I beat it this summer and I think it is one of the most challenging and entertaining puzzle games that I've ever played.
Yoshi is another game I would recommend, I really don't kow how to accurately describe it. It's sorta like tetris except you have to stack symbols together between eggshells to hatch a Yoshi. Another similar(but wackier!) game would be Hatris. In Hatris, you stack hats on top of heads and pair them up to make them disappear. Both games are excellent puzzlers that you can just turn on and play.

I recently bought Boxxle, Lock 'n Chase, and Qwirk, and all are great little games to play in short spurts.

-Play Action Football: Hardly a great "sim" but one of my favorite GB sports titles
-Centipede: I liked this port. I believe this was released at least three times for the original Gameboy and Gameboy Color but to my knowledge, it is always the same version of Centipede. Some versions have Millipede on the same cart, I think.
-Space Invaders: No explanation needed
-The Simpsons/Bart Vs. The Juggernauts: Yeah, most Simpsons games suck. The premise for this one is Bart competing in a game show. It is made up of a bunch of mini-games and some of them are pretty challenging. For the most part, they are fun. Nothing you would want to play during a serious gaming session but waiting for a ride somewhere, waiting for supper to finish or "taking a dump" is a good excuse to play this.

I've always enjoyed TMNT Fall of the Footclan for short bursts.
