There are lots of these on eBay that come up under the search of "NES TOP LOADER". IMHO I believe that this is a misrepresented listing. I have a top loader to sell on eBay but I can see that it will have to compete with the mass of other top loaders that aren't really NES. I have been told that the Famicom was made by Nintendo. That's all well and good but that still doesn't make it an NES!! I guess I'm just looking for opinions on whether NES in the title is misrepresentation of the item. I think if it is a FAMICOM then it should be listed as such. Any other opinions?

When you list your Top Loader put the word Original in the title..

Do a search for original top loader and you'll see lots of top loader selling that way, and they seem to sell better that way.

Or do a search with the string (no quotes):

"Top Loader -(FC, twin)"

Write whatever words you want to exclude inside the "-()", separated by commas. I use that to weed out tons of unrelated auctions when searching for average item sale prices. You have no idea how many useless items come up when searching for Windows XP, or Office, or Paint Shop Pro. Lots of people add unrelated words to their titles in hopes of luring in unsuspecting buyers.

Also use gallery and a subtitle to get attention to your listing.
