Xenogears Deathblows Question

is it really nessercary to build up all, or most of, the Elemental Deathblows you get after the 4 Generators battle in Shevat?

I wouldn't say neccessay, but it definately helps. There are a couple boss fights where the right elemental attack does huge damage. Also, I think getting them gives you better Gear deathblows, though I could be wrong.

Thanx. All of Citan's are up, half of Fei's are even though the last 3 are refusing to budge. 3 of Elly's 4 are up and I think I got most of Bart's also. Debating working with Rico and Billy..which reminds me, I need bullets.
