What basketball video games feature Michael Jordan as himself (not someone who looks like him/has stats like him but with diff name etc)?

I know he was not featured in a lot of the 90s basketball games due to holding his own license separate from the NBA as a league.

This is all I got at the moment, I will update this list as information is made available to me!

**the only PC games listed are PC only exclusives...many of the titles have PC ports available

I believe he was in all of the early EA NBA games on the genesis -

Lakers vs. Celtics
Bulls vs. Lakers
Bulls vs. Blazers

I'm not sure if he was still in when it was renamed to NBA Showdown.

Thanks...I doubled checked and you are correct.

I added these as well as some others I found while checking that information. He is unlockable in NBA Live '96 if you create a player with his name.

Does anyone know if he appears in any of the NBA Street series games aside from Vol. 2?

Almost forgot NBA Street Vol 2. There's a young and older Jordan in that game.

Wasn't he in NBA JAM?

I am pretty sure he is in none of the NBA Jam games....there is some wacky named secret character that is probably supposed to be him though.

Wasn't he in NBA JAM?

Absolutely not. NBA Jam had Scottie Pippen, BJ Armstrong and Horace Grant.

I remember an issue of EGM saying he was in the first run of the arcade version, but I've seen absolutely no evidence to back this up.

Maybe he was in a pre-release or test version. Midway changed / updated all their arcade games quite often.

He is on the Gamecube version of NBA Street Vol.1 and not the PS2/XBox versions?

How about games featuring Michael Jackson?

Good question. To my knowledge, he signed a minor league contract, and was never on the White Sox 40 man roster (I don't think). Therefore, he probably wasn't part of the MLBPA. In fact, Jordan a few years later Jordan wound up leaving the NBA Players Association, which is why he's sometimes left out of NBAPA licensed games. You had to negotiate with him separately. Anyway, unless Jordan joined the MLBPA during his brief minor league career (doubtful), he probably never was in a game. Most baseball games until the 5th generation consoles often did not license with MLBPA, due to their high asking price. It would be almost crazy to pay both the MLBPA and additionally Michael Jordan!
