Is it me, or is there a severe lack of baseball titles for the NDS? The only ones that I know of is that awful MLB 2k7 and the new Japanese Famista/RBI game that hasn't even been released yet. And there's Wiffle Ball too if you want to count that.

Are there any others?

I don't count Wiffle Ball.

When the package for the game contains a "real-life" version of the very thing it's trying to replicate, I don't consider that a good sign. :)

Damn...I agree. I would love to have a sweet DS baseball game to play. GBA had Baseball Advance...they should revamp that game and slap it on the DS.

Yes, I have Baseball Advance...I even play it on my DS...but it's out of date. I play as the Pirates and only one player on the Pirate roster in the Baseball Advance game is still o n the Pirates roster in real life (SS Jack Wilson) so they definitely need to redo that. Or just somebody give us a decent baseball game for the system. MLB 2K7 definitely doesn't qualify.

There's also the PowerPro-kun games, which have almost as much history as the Famista series in Japan. For the DS, I think there's two Japanese ones and a stripped down Korean one with no story mode.

I think that the PowerPro-kun games are probably the very best baseball video games I've ever played, definitely right up there with Baseball Stars and the World Series games on the Saturn. The DS versions don't make amazing use of the touchscreen like I hoped they would (touchscreen control could really improve especially the pitching interface, I think), but they're still really solid and fun.

No U.S. releases on the DS or any other system, but I recently heard that one of the PS2 versions is finally going to be localized for the U.S., so hopefully a DS localization will surface eventually, too. I'd really love to be able to play the story mode, which looks totally deep and interesting and funny.

Ohh..I can't wait for that MLB Power Pro game. I have always wanted to play them. I was hoping the DS version would come over but it hasnt yet.
