So with the recent appearance of the Dreamcast ZIP drive proto, I was reminded of these pictures I've had on my hard drive for a number of years:

These are supposedly pictures of the DC-based set-top box that the British cable (or satellite or whatever) company Pace was going to be making around 2001 as part of a service that would have included Dreamcast game downloads. If I remember correctly I got the pics from some Italian site that had an article about the Pace service, but there was no specific information about this prototype in the article. Does anyone know more about it? Like can it actually play games from its harddrive? Is there only one of these in existence or more? Anyone have one?

I remember reading about this in an old issue of Edge. There was even some pictures, not sure if they're the same as those ones though. I'll see if I can dig out the article.

Iirc, it was to come equipped with a 40 or 60 GB HDD that you would play the games from.
