Your taking the context of this thread away from its original purpose.
Now, are we answering the question of what is the most important console for gaming thus far (as the thread name implies).
or, are we answering the question of:
what is the most important step in gaming?
Do you see the difference?
....Wow... You know, I guess you forgot that I started this thread.
The name of the game in ANY hobbyist or enthusiast site or publication is relevant digression. I find that keeps a thread or conversation interesting.
What I was doing there, you see, was offering a counterpoint to previously posted opinions, to stimulate further debate. If that concept disturbs you, you can start your own thread.
I don't want to be rude, but if you don't have an actual argument or relevant point, then try not to post. OK? No one made you the hall monitor here. Thanks.
G-Boobie, out.

And out of all that, you still didn't answer my question!
Yet, your concerned where I am "coming" from?
Interesting!
I was only asking a mere question!

That's okay, if you don't want me to participate in your "thread" I won't.
You see in graduate school whenever someone keeps straying away from the original topic of discussion, we call that a "tangent." You guys like tangents a lot, and sometimes, so do I!
This thread is just going to go on and on, because no one here will stick to what is "relevant."
Be my guess, IT IS YOUR THREAD, take it in whatever direction you want.
Count me out! Unlike you, I choose to learn from other people I come into contact with on this board. I also try to "educate" those who post misleading or false information. Do you want to know why?
That is how we all learn from one another. I could care less how much money or "formal" education you have (believe me I have a lot of both), however, the human factor still gets put into play.
Yes, I can be egotistical and hard to deal with at times, but guess what, so can half (or more) of all the people on these forums.
Enough said! I don't want a flame war, so I'll try to stay away from this thread!

Incidentally, I could do with you not participating in any thread. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has found it a chore to try to sift through your endless, asinine posts in the Modern Gaming forum. It's gotten to where I dread coming to Modern Gaming, and it is all because of you.

I'm sorry that feel that way.
Not that I care, but I am sorry...
It's ashame, I guess I too was once that uneducated, naive, and stupid enough not to value or appreciate a thinking man's opinion.
Sometimes...I miss those days.
And it has nothing to do with you!

Looks like not a lot has changed then. And pardon me, but NO ONE appreciates an arrogant asshole (but themselves).

I would say the NES
If Sony never entered the game market, it would be the N64 & the Saturn alone..alot of good games would go on the Saturn

I'll just ignore you...
You can ignore me too...
