I just recieved a bunch of genesis V1 and V2.

with the V1's I am able to make an actual cable that works with the connector in the rear of the box.

however, the v2's have a 9 pin connector that is impossible to find. I am able to add either RCA jacks or an S-Video and Audio RCA's to the box.

I am not a hobbyist solderer, it is part of my job for 14 years. So the mod is being done by a "professional" if you will.

That being the case. I obviously do not need more than 1 or 2 systems, so I am looking to sell them. I haven't modded them yet, but I am wondering if I should mod them, or look for a source for the 9 pin connectors to make real cables instead of opening the box.

any Idea's what the mod will do to the value of the box?

or the best route to take in turning them over for the best price?

thanks,
