Which Guitar Hero 3 song are you looking forward to play the most out of the current list, and why?

For me it is going to be Raining Blood by Slayer for a few reasons.
- Slayer is one of my favorite bands
- Raining Blood is my favorite song by them
- I love having to press the buttons where it's so fast that I can't even think about it, it just happens
- The faster the song, the more I like it
- First time I played Guitar Hero II (first one I ever tried) I said "I want Raining Blood on the next one"

I think the only other songs by Slayer that I'd substitute it for is Seasons in the Abyss or Angel of Death.. Better yet, it'd be even better if they had all three in there :D

La Grange is one of my favorite songs of all time. It's on my "store mix" CD and it often befuddles the kids when I rock out to it... just wait until they see me PLAY it. What a kick ass song to have in the game. Suddenly I can't wait for GH3.

I was thinking La Grange as well. The ZZ Top on GH1 was one my favorites, and I think this one will be even better. Through the Fire and Flames will be fun to TRY, but I don't see me doing well on it. Great song though.

Slipknot, Disturbed, and "Devil Went Down To Georgia" as the final song make me skeptical. As well as the lack of any Velvet Revolver songs, and an Atreyu song (both of which have been confirmed)

Since I'm a glutton for punishment, I can't wait for "Through The Fire And The Flames" just to see if I can actually beat it. There's an Achievement just for doing so on the 360 version.

Nice. Was on the fence about the game before the list was released. Now I think i'm more excited for this than Rock Band. I'll still pick that up too, but more likely to just play the guitar unless friends are over anyway.

I saw that Best Buy has a free Guitar Hero guitar strap with preorder. May just do it to get the strap. Going to pick up the game anyway, might as well get the bonus as well.

It's not clear yet. From the 'leaked' list, it would seem that way, but I just don't see that happening because which songs they are. If it's the case, it wouldn't really be a problem with me, as I'm the one who got roughly 10 people into GH1, and then the game blew up, so everyone's got a guitar or two.

No doubt in my mind now that the leaked setlist is the real thing. Only reason scorehero deleted it is their ties with Activision.

If there ever is a "favorite" song of mine, chances are I've played it in some cover band somewhere ad naseum sometime in my life.
