Gran Turismo 3 Not For Resale edition?

All I know is that it has a pink cover, and it looks much different from the regular version. I saw one copy at Gamestop today, and may go pick it up tomorrow (hell...I don't even have GT3 at all!). Anybody know anything about it? Is it rare?

Is it by chance an import?

I know in Japan, they did release a special version Gran Turismo system and game, but I think that was for Gran Turismo 4?

Other than that, that is all I know. I don't recall any special pink version being released in the US.

Nah, it was defiantly NTSC (had a ESRB rating). I've seen it twice, once at Gamecrazy, and now another time in Gamestop.

Yep, that was the version that was bundled with the PS2 when GT3 was released. If memory serves me right, it was the first US PS2 bundle.

They're fairly common, 10 years from now, I'd imagine they'd rank a 2 in the rarity guide.

I've been seeing more of those pop up at game stores, most likely as a result of people dumping their stuff for next-gen. Also interesting is that it does not use the same cataloging prefix(SLUS/SCUS) on the spine as all other PS2 games.

My freind has the exact same copy. I've actually have been meaning to start this very thread lol.

Okay, I think I have seen that before. Not really sure though. I know in Japan, for Gran Turismo 4, they got a special limited edition console released over there!
