I remember them having promised and delayed their last MD-Flash Cart for over a year. Let alone their mad prices. Fuck Neo. Wait for the next Tototek-release.

Their last MD-flash cart was supposed to cost 200,-$.
This may be it, I donīt know for sure, but I think they never even got it done. And the NeoFlash-team avoids unpleasant questions like the plague. Iīd never buy from them.

It looks like it has a GBA Flash cart inserted into the MD/Gen cart... :hmm:

So this thing is actually out, finally.

I think it came out about a month ago. Does anybody here have it? I'm wondering what it's like and if it's worth the money.

I'm kind of confused. Does it actually have a GBA/NDS flash cart built into it too? Why would they do that? Doesn't that make it a lot more expensive than just putting a SD slot in the thing?
The two things I like about it over the Tototek model is the expanded storage and the USB connection. Oh, and the fact that it comes in a case. Still, for $149 ... that's a lotta Genesis games.

This sounds pretty interesting, I curious how good the Mark3 FM sound is?
Seems a bit much @ $149 though with the cost of memory being dirt cheap these days. :P

Anyone knows how the multi region Mega/Sega CD works and if it'll with an X'Eye?

They were talking about this on AtariAge a few weeks ago, and I briefly took a look at it. So it really uses a GBA flash cart? Can the flash cart also be used on a GBA, or is another contraption needed to load stuff on it? What would the ballpark estimate on the size of the complete US Genesis romset?

And it won't play 32X games from any region, which automatically kills my desire to get it. I'd love to try out DarXide, but don't want to go through the logistics and expense of paying an arm and a leg for a copy, a Mega Drive to play it on, a step-down converter to run the UK mains adapter through, et cetera.
Do these things actually cost that much if you're in Hong Kong? Or is it only that much to importers. I just couldn't see some local guy in Hong Kong paying that much. Reason I bring this up, is because my brother travels to Hong Kong or Taiwan several times a year, and I could see if he could bring one of these things back for me, but only if he could get it for like half price being there locally.

Too many unanswered questions. This just makes me wish some more reputable folks would do a Genesis flash cart.

I'm hoping that retrozone gets on board with non-Nintendo PowerPaks. If they start doing a GennyPak and a TurboChipPak, that would complete the circle for me. :D
I was excited about this one at first, now I'm just plain confused about it. Not good.

The good folks at the Sega16 forums have given the NeoMyth nothing but praise, and this is the same one I am going to buy soon enough. Their main complaint was that the tech support given on the site is engrishy, because the manufacturer's native language is chinese, but they did get everything working. It is also reccomended that you use ROMs from the no-intro set as it is more geared towards verified/good dumps and should run properly on this thing. One fellow at AtariAge gives them alot of praise as well. He's the guy who has a testimonial in regards to their Turbografx/PCE card on the product page.

It would be cool if it supported the 80MBit Ultimate Mortal Kombat Trilogy hack, but I have a feeling that would be more complicated than the simple bank-swapping used in Suoer Street Fighter 2.
