I'm looking to buy 2 first party SNES controllers in excellent condition. My current ones came with my used SNES and they are all worn and the button stick and the dpad is mushy and unresponsive and it's really bumming me out.

Make an offer but don't try to pull a fast one I know these things aint rare :D

Would you happen to just want replacement rubber pads to fix the controllers you have? The reason the buttons are unresponsive is because the rubber pads underneath them have worn out.

I'm kind of an idiot so it it possible for someone like me to take the controller apart and fix it without ruining everything?

As much as I hate to send you into the lion's den...... try thrift stores.

I'm in NH and the only thrift store I know of never carries anything other than clothes

Replacing the rubber pads is as easy and unscrewing five screws, lifting up with the logic board, taking out the old rubber parts and inserting the new ones. Nothing fancy required.

Where might someone get some replacement rubber pads?
