I'm pretty proud with how this came out. I wonder what title I'll make next!

Wait.. what?
You did this yourself?
If you've done anymore, I'd like to hear about it. :)

I love the Genesis with all my heart, until death do us part, then into eternity. Anyway I'm only 30 some-odd-titles away from a complete US collection of Genesis games, and would like to know how I can aquire this Monster World 4 title you speak of.

It's an unofficial game translation, which was released by Demiforce and DeJap several years ago.

Oh! Ok. Sorry I'm slow.
Yeah, that definitely gets the Sam Jackson award for exemplary bad-assery.

I didn't make that post to mock you for not knowing about the translation; I'm just letting people know about an excellent translation that deserves to be played by more folks. :)
Which it should. SO GO PLAY IT OR ELSE. :P

Haha, oh I knew that. But it answered my question anyway. :P

On a similar topic, what is the easiest way to transfer a rom file onto a cart like you did. I have a good grasp of graphic design but I am newbish on the hardware/software side of emulation.

VERY nice work. If you decide to make more (for sale), count me in for one absolutely.

Not to get off topic, but you say 30 games away. I have around 250, and damn, I am running out of house space. Is your collection all boxed? You must have a bigger place than mine if so! :) Then again, I am displaying them (they are not in storage or anything).

You need a really good printer, quality paper and a soldering iron. The label itself has a plastic coating like 'real' labels. I went through a few test prints before I got it to look right, also.

Different systems use different chips.. the chips for the Genesis are unusual (somewhat archaic in fact) and I had to get a new programmer for them because the legacy device I already had decided to die on me this year. The easiest way for you to learn how to do this is start searching the net, there are webpages that cover it for NES, SNES, Genesis, etc.
I took a pic of the back of the box and inside of the manual. A friend helped me with the box copy so it reads right out of 1994. It's up to them if they want to chime in here though.

I'm the guy who helped with the back-cover text on this, and Bratwurst was nice enough to make me a copy. It's really impressive.
So impressive, in fact, that I took a few shots of it next to other Genesis games.

The only thing you did wrong was use the ugly red border. The original black with original Genesis logo looks much better. [/nitpick]

I think it looks great, but I have an issue with your using the Sega "licensed" logos. You know. They're not licensed and all. ;p

Yes, I actually know a guy who makes cartridges of unreleased Mega Drive-Games.
Here´s a link on how to do SNES-Carts...

You should start doing reproductions of translated ROMs if you can get all the permission. I dunno about the legality of it, though.

WOW! ..........
The only thing that box needs to be 100% awesome (it's 99.9% right now) is the VGRC rating.
It looks beautiful on the shelf like that though.

I would like to provide cover art for future Genesis homebrew releases assuming someone is interested in that.

I thought long and hard about that and decided to exclude it as one of the few obvious details that would indicate it wasn't legit. I also didn't want to cover up Miss Harpy's butt.
Thanks to everyone for the compliments!
