So I'm thinking of parting with one of my prize items...

The Dreamcast Shenmue special edition...whoopee right there all over Ebay...

This one is signed by Yu Suzuki in three places on the cover of the game and on the first two disks...

When Shenmue was released in the US Sega set up a signing in San Jose with Suzuki and I went they were VERY strict and he only signed for an hour.

I have NOT seen this on Ebay ever well over the last few years...any idea what a collector might estimate this would sell for?

well without signatures among shenmue fans it sells for about 50-60 the signature helps though. I'd love to have this along with a signed copy of sega ages for saturn.

Just looking for a decent price otherwise it goes on ebay.

The game goes for between $15-20. With the signatures, it could bump the price up by usually $15-25ish, I am a collector of signed games and whatnot, and thats what I have found what they go for in my experience. I would be interested in that copy of Shenmue, by the way, if you have interest on selling it outside of Ebay.

I recently sold the collector's edition in mint condition at my store for $34.99 if that's any help to you.

Is the signature on the paper or the plastic

I bought mine for $35 plus tax, at a game store. Of course it didnt have an autograph, if that helps out at all. So it's not worth a big chunk of change or anything, but the signature's gotta help the value among collectors.
