Atari 400/800 Programmers System and Developers cartridge?

I am not sure exactly what to call it? A vendor at my local flea market says he has one that i could have for 250? He says it is new, has all the books and instructions. Its either like a testing unit the game stores used or a develors unit. He says he also has the developers cartridge with a bunch of games on it. He said it is the 400/800 system. Is it worth 250?

I'm not sure how much these things are worth, but you should definitely try to get a hold of any protos. Does the vendor have any more information like who the developer is, what company did he work for?

Atari 8 bit generally doesn't fetch the prices 2600 does. Without a list or some pics you could be heading into a deal you will never break even on or a steal.
