Though its only been a month, things have changed drastically here. Our boxed NES selection has tripled in size, we have some new items in our rare case, and we have lots and lots of Halo 3 O_O

So, bring money ;)

You don't give much of an advance notice either. :) If I know a few weeks ahead of time then I could probably make it up there after work, the ride home from your place probably wouldn't kill me like the ride home from Joe's would if I went after work. Plus I would come to the correct location this time. Well, probably.

Yep...it's always the first Saturday of the month barring any major holiday or problems. Yeah, sorry about the short notice...I guess I'm so used to the same people coming and knowing its the first Sat of the month, I forget about those who haven't been yet. I'll try and post earlier next time, but like I said, it will 99% of the time be the first Saturday of every month.

@ kid ice...hellz yeah. drunk is nice default setting for Saturday nights in the big citay.

@ djbm...drunk typing is what led to '2-d beat-off'. imagine the phrases 'ultimate 2-d beat 'em UP' and 'PLAY-off' getting into a trainwreck.

While drinking the 40 I'm going to try to sell every customer who comes in the store that copy of "Munster go Home". Then I'm going to head over to the liquor store for the usual six pack, and while I drink that play a bunch of M rated 3DO games. Then I'm going to offer anyone who happens to be in the store free drinks at the Italian place. Then I'll come back to the store cackling like a maniac and telling crazy ass stories. Then I'm going to bean that Donkey Kong kid with every Yobo product in the place. Then I'm going to call that EB games across the street and challenge the staff there to come over and fight us. Then I'm going to run around in the street with that Stunt Cycle until the cops come, and say "Problem officer? That man in there is providing liquor to minors!"

We watched an old karate flick called "Rage of the Master". We ate Wendy's. We played Magical Drop and Street Smart (yes that one). Some kid was forced to buy Munster Go Home. After all that, I forgot the 3DO games. I only live 10 minutes from the store but when you have children, you don't leave and come back! The first game I mentioned was Virtuoso, then just two days later I got Shadow: War of Succession which is even worse.

I missed the 2D beat off, I got there just as Jim was leaving.

I left the Donkey Kong kid alone because I felt badly that he went to the Van Halen concert. Plus DK doesn't even stand for Donkey Kong!

Yeah Vector, next time I see you, Magical Drop is "On like Donkey Kong" (Quote Wataru330, last used probably 1 month 3 weeks and 4 days ago or so). I've been getting better, though this is on PS1...I need to get that arcade stick fixed.

I had a good time, being the Young One I am, the ball gets rolling when its slap happy time in the wee hours of the night. As always, can't wait for the next one. Hopefully the store is redone to work better for gatherings by then.
