Okay, so I've got some cash and I'm heading up to Ontario for the week on Wednesday. I'd like to hit a few shops and see if I can't dig up some classic RPG action. Question is, what are the best places in Toronto (and the surrounding area) to buy games?

I'm looking mostly for mom and pop shops that sell cheap. Any info is much appreciated. :)

www.cgcc.ca can help you out. Where you from? If you are in the Hamilton area I can think of two pretty good stores. They are the 1up stores. One is on Fennel the other is in westdale. http://www.1upgames.ca

Not much in Toronto proper (just moved from there). The best retro place I found there is on Spadina just south of bloor. Blink and you'll miss it -- A&C I think it's called. Very tiny and overpriced, but good selection.

Aside from that, downtown Toronto is very disappointing for retro stuff IMO.

If you end up in Mississauga, try Gamenow on Winston Churchill or Toyratt games up past the airport (cannot remember the address off the top of my head, but its only open on weekends if i remember correctly)

Very tiny and overpriced, but good selection.I've been there a few times. Their prices are pretty high, but their trade-in values are very generous, so it's a good place if you're looking to swap.
