In any game in which YOU get to make up names for your characters, have you ever decided to come up with something comical? If so, what?

For NES Wizardry, I decided to make up an EVVVVIIIIIILLLLLLL party. So, the names were:

Goono (fighter)
Thugface (fighter)
Bullyboy (fighter)
THIEF (guess...)
Sauronus (wizard. "Bishop," on original version)
Evil-O (priest)

Mostly, they attack "friendly" monsters.

A buddy of mine created a party of wizards on the D&D Warriors of the Eternal Sun game and named them all after various types of bowel movements. Nothing like "shit" or "doodoo". Hell, I believe they were different medical terms. Hmm..

The star character from Paper Mario named Twink always got a laugh out of me.

When Panzer Dragoon Saga first came out, my brother and I were playing through it at the same time. We each had our own save. It was his turn and he was playing but had to go to the bathroom so after he was out of sight I grabbed the controller and kept playing. I got to the part of the game where you name your dragon and named his "Weenor".

He was PISSED.

Score.

Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, I'd say well over half of the characters I've been are weird or obscene names. Such as; Boogerboy, Boogermeister, Waldo, I.P.Freely just stupid stuff like that.

My brother has a whole bunch of different games where he named the main character Dusean Mandic. He tells me that this was someone on an episode of Viva la BAM. Supposedly it's his real name, but considering that this is a show where a grown man plays practical jokes on his parents, well...

I had a bald gnome back when world of warcraft came out named still-born.

I will admit it was in bad taste, so as you can guess it didn't go over so well with the guild. I had the name changed to gerbil.

The guild fell apart about 6 months later due to personal threats, and disconnect between the leader and other members. So much for adults and casual guilds.

Maybe I'm just too mature to laugh at stuff like that, but I can honestly claim that I've never made up a stupid name.

My boyfriend wasn't so interested in playing TP so intead of Link the name was Stink.

It's really funny when you save a spirit and they're all like "Heroic Stink".

If you're playing a game in which you pretend to be an elf, then the time in which you can claim to be "too mature" is long past.

We had some fun times giving monsters crazy names after taming them in Ultima Online.

An old thread but I recently came across a copy of Final Fantasy for NES and there was still a save file on it. I decided to take a picture of it, I did not name these myself.

I suspect alot of characters made in create-a-charater modes of wrestling and fighting games have similiar name sakes, provided there aren't any censors in said games.

Haha, that copy of FF is definitely a keeper. Someone really invested major time in team "Asscrak Licker"

Higharolla Kockamamie is the name of a bad guy in snake's revenge, which was a play on Ayatollah Khomeini. This game had silly character names.

Khushnood Butt.

Because apparently the character's original name in Japan, Marco Rodriguez, was not wacky enough for English speakers.

What game was that, wasn't it a Fatal Fury game?

My sister once made a save file in my copy of The Final Fantasy Adventure were the hero was named FUCK and the heroine was named ASS. She did the specifically because there are several points in the game where the heroine yells the heroes name. So "ASS: FUCK!!"

Often when I name characters there ends up being a "wiener" or "butt" in there. In some heavily menu driven older RPGs I have trouble keeping all the characters straight, so my ultimate rosters have a lot of "druidy", "thiefy", "clerical", etc.

I remember creating a character in WWF War Zone by the name of Percy the Proctologist.
