thing is, thats like the crappiest version of the guide! gamestop has a nice glittery version, but im eyeing the hardcover LE like the TP one only blue.

This offer is available at store locations too. My wife went there last night and picked up the game and her free guide too :)

As for the guide, it may not me the best version but it is the best price.

The TRU free guide isn't in Canada :(
We lose out yet again. I bought the guide separately. I haven't opened it yet because I'm thinking of taking the guide back and getting the collector's edition. What's the difference between the two?

So I went to TRU just as they were closing tonight to capitalize on this offer. I figured I would get the guide, then take it somewhere and claim it was a gift and they got the wrong one because I wanted the hardcover one, and hopefully I'd just be able to pay the difference.
Fortunately, they were out of the guides, so I asked what they could do for me, and they offered to knock 20 bucks off of the hardcover one. Which saved me an entire step. What a sweet deal!
