Tapper (whether the Budweiser or Root Beer version) is one of my favorite classic arcade games. Something about it just keeps me hooked.
Since it's a relatively simple (but also distinctive) style of gameplay, I figure there must have been a lot of similar games over the years. But off the top of my head, I can only think of Cake Mania, Diner Dash, and Kitchen Panic. What else is there?

Also one of my favorite games. I want a Bud Tapper cab so bad!
Not that it is like Tapper, but, the same peeps (I believe) did a game called Timber. Fun two player stuff. Was on the Midway Arcade Treasures disc.

Cakewalk and Pressure Cooker for Atari 2600 (two of my favorites) come to mind...that game Cake Mania is basically a hybrid of the two.

Timber has a ton in common with it, is considered sort of a sequel to Tapper by many.
It's on Midway Arcade Treasures 2. Great game.

"Bobo" for the Atari ST. In one of the mini-games you have to serve soup to prisoners

Too bad that playing BTTF for the NES will make you committ suicide before you ever get to the soda shop...

Indeed...I rented that game from my local video store when it came out in '89, and I never made it that far!
Man, that game was horseshit.
