Anyone heard if Nintendo is going to release a black version of the Wii soon? I would love that color to match everything else. Thanks.

Sorry to jack your thread but this just got me thinking about how gay I felt the other day trying to make sure all the accessories I got for my 360 were white to match my console. What is going on? It didn't used to be like this. Everyone was the same but now everyone's got a limited edition console.
Back on the Wii topic, I think Nintendo will start making different colors after the holidays when sales start to dip a little.

I like limited edition stuff and color matters why would you want to have what everyone else has? However if something is going to be limited it better actually be limited they make to many of these limited consoles. They can make as many of the normal consoles in multiple colors as they like though
A black wii would be cool and make perfect sense as would a pink one and possibly some special colors (do like they did with DS)

I agree. I wish my Wii was black personally. I've thought of doing case modding... but then I think "Warrentee" and that's why I waited 3 years to case mod my PS2.

I also agree with the special edition colors... But common Nintendo... If you make a limited edition color don't bring it back later!

Whatever. We all know it's going to happen. It's Nintendo policy to release different colors, including a "graphite" or "black" or whatever the fuck you want to call it.
There's zero speculation about it. It's happening. It's Nintendo.
