Anyone know of a plastic type case that would hold SNES games and where I can get them. I have a bunch o' SNES games (and Genny games for that matter) that are loose and I want to protect them from dust and stuff. Any ideas? Thanks!!!

You should be able to pick up something suitable at any Office Max, Target, etc. Sylentwulf can probably give you more specifics on what fits best in what model number, and be sure and check out the "game room" pics (above) for more storage ideas. :)

Shelves. Lots and lots of shelves.

That's what I've done to my basement. You can barely even see my walls anymore.

Go to Home depot and pick up a bunch of 5" pine boards and make some cheap shelves. If you have a few more $$$ to spend then pick up a metal wall hanger and make adjustable shelves.

I use just a standard plastic storage case (like Rubbermaid), one that's large enough to store 10-12 games. That's pretty unexpensive and keeps the dust out.

For the bare carts whose label I care about I slip them in archival grade plastic bags, the kind you normally store comics. Just wrap 'em over a few times and that's it.

For protecting the individual carts, you can get archival bags (like the comic bags mentioned above) that are digest or paperback size that would work better for SNES carts--I don't know who makes them, but I've seen them at second-hand or rare bookstores.
For example, Dreamhaven Books in Minneapolis www.dreamhavenbooks.com has different bags and might know of more.
Also, I've seen various online retailers that sell rental game cases--they're the size of a Genesis clamshell, and can hold a Genny, SNES, or N64 cart--if you don't mind something that big for one cart.
I keep all of my SNES carts in a clear plastic box, from Rubbermaid or whatever, just for ease of use, and it keeps them safe and cozy.
