View Full Version : Vectrex Light Pen (in Box)

So I found this item while exploring this weekend, and I can't seem to find a reference price on Ebay for it. It's in the box, with the manual and Art Master. The pen is still in the bag. The box looks like the box got wet, and the manual has water damage to it also. Does anyone have a guestimate price for this item?

Edit: I usually take the DP price and calculate an approximate value of 50-75% of it. So I'm guessing fifty bucks at least. :)

that light pen with box and manual will fetch more than $50.
Even with some water damage it will fetch probably $150

Has the price really shot up that much? I've seen people struggle to sell everything bar the box (ie. the pen, cartridge and manual) for $40... prices on most of the rare Vectrex stuff has come down in the last year or two, even the complete items.

Usually the DP price I have found on R8's and up tends to be a bit low. Thanks for all your input! I think I am going to test it on my Vecrex and then list it on Ebay. I never really play my vectrex, so I guess I will pass it on to someone who appreciates it.

Not in these parts. I think Drexel923 had one boxed in the store for $75 and it took a few weeks to sell.

I have to agree with kid ice. I did not think these were worth as much as they used to be. If he is throwing it on ebay, we will see how much it pulls.

Cant wait to see it, sorry I sold mine. Complete , fair condition WITH the two other boxed lightpen 'apps' went for $150

If you plan to get rid of the system let me know, I've been thinking about getting one for awhile. I don't need the box, manual and other pack-ins but the unit would need to be in great shape and working (which I'm sure it does).
