Both these TG-16 emulators seem about the same performance-wise. Is there any advantage to using one over the other? And most importantly, can you play Turbo CD images with both of them. I know you can on one of them (HuE I think) but not sure about the other.

I guess the only way to find out is to try it out just try to load up a CD image and lets see.

That's the thing. It's been ages since I played any CD games in these emulators and forgot how to load the games. I remember it being really complicated too...had to extract the image and mp3's from the disc + create a custom .toc file. And the emu's readme file is entirely in japanese too, which doesn't help much.

If you can figure it out though, lmk. But as far as HuCard games go, I can't really tell any difference between the two emulators.

why dont you just download the game from a torrent or something then just put the downloaded image on the memory card and see what happens.

Because that won't work. You still need to make the .toc file for the cd image and I don't remember how to make one and where it goes on the memory stick. Plus, you have to boot the Super System card rom and disc image in a certain order too.

With all the work you have to go thru to get turbo cd games working on the PSP, I'm amazed I got it working once before. I just wish I could remember how I did it.

I got a PSP-ready version of Drac-X somewhere, along with the old emulator I used to play it. I didn't realize there were newer tg16 emulators.. I'll have to dig it up and check it out.

By the way, there was an old page that had instructions on how to prepare tg16 cd images for the PSP. I saved that page as well a long time ago. I can dig it up too if you want but are you sure there are no other pages out there that'll have the info as well?
