After picking up a PSP Slim last week my first thought in my purchase was imports I'd like to get so I figured I'd ask if any of you have any recommendations. :)
The list I have thus far in just checking around what was available is.
Parodius Portable ( I have this on the way) :D
Twin Bee portable
Salamander Portable
Sengoku Cannon
R-Type Tactics
I may also check out one of those Cosplay Yakyuken titles ;)
Any others that you have played or enjoy? They do not just have to be shmups as I have listed anything fairly english friendly platformers, puzzle, obscure etc. etc.
Thanks!

Colin McRae Rally (conversion of 5 from PS2)
Otherwise, I cannot much think of too many exclusive import only PSP titles.
Princess Crown.... doh, forgot about that.
I'll probably think of some others.

i like both dj max portables.
also if you like 2d fighting spectral vs generation is good. the japanese version of guilty gear judgement comes with XX Slash instead of #Reload. Slash has not been released in the US

Unless they have added an english option to princess crown, he should stay away, as it's far from import friendly.
There aren't really any games that didn't make it over here and totally rock. Or if they didnt make it here, and they rock, chances are they're a port.
Sengoku Cannon sucks by the way, don't waste your money on it. I paid $10 and that was too much.

Saragetchu: Piposaru Racer (Ape Escape Racing)
Spectral vs. Generation (fighting game based on the Spectral Souls and Generation of Chaos strategy games)
Taito Memories Pocket (includes Rainbow Islands Extra which was omitted from U.S. release)

I recommend against Sengoku Cannon, which is really cheap and generic compared to the other games in the series.
Bomberman Blast Squadron is an interesting Bomberman spinoff but not as good as the other Bomberman PSP titles.
There's also a Puzzle Bobble game that didn't come to America, but the superior sequel did.

Tales of Eternia is a good one. It's a port of Tales of Destiny 2 from the PS1, using the original Japanese game. For whatever reason, it wasn't released in the US, but you can import the Euro version, which is in English. Great RPG.

Oh yeah, wasn't there also a European version of Breath of Fire that didn't come to America?

Can't believe I forgot Taiko no Tatsujin. Yeah, I would definitely buy Taiko 1 over Taiko 2. Better song selection for American ears... Urusei Yatsura and Lupin III themes as well as We Will Rock You, yeah. :)

The second one did have the Neon Genesis theme in it though...other than that..yeah, the song list wasn't that good.

If you enjoyed the original IQ (Intelligent Qube), then IQ Mania is definitely worth a pick-up.
