Assassin's Creed Collector's Set is super sexy [Joystiq]

We'd heard about the Collector's Edition for Assassin's Creed (http://www.joystiq.com/2006/10/20/assassins-creed-collectors-set-for-pre-order-12-figurine-the/), but now that we've laid eyes on that 12-inch figurine, our lust for it has reached fever pitch. Listen to that ... if you're quiet, you can almost hear significant others from all across the country wondering aloud "Where you're going to put that ugly thing" from more than a month in the future.

While the Altair figure does look incredible, we're having some Big Daddy flashbacks (http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/25/busted-big-daddy-page-up-and-running/) looking at his weapon. Anyone else think Ubisoft should go ahead and set up the "Broken Stiletto" figure replacement site now?

actually, I think the LE of Bioshock was getting upto double its price, since its numbers were actually "limited" so if this follows suit then there might be more value to it, if not then yes its more broken crap...lol


Also on ebgames.com they have the figurine at 3" not 12.... but I guess then that's ebgames.... they are always SOOOOO acurate...lol.

My Bioshock LE was perfect. No problems for me. Except that since mine was fine I don't get the artbook. Big Daddy is sitting on my bookshelf staring at me now.

And soon Altair will be standing...no, towering over him. Hopefully in one piece.

Looks interesting. I wish all collector edition would pack in soundtrack & artbook as a standard stuff. Adding Figurine is a bonus.

Mine was fine and if something was wrong i will get it fix from the store or manufacturer. I don't know of anybody who had a broken one.

Its just a must have from my point of view. i got to give it microsoft there last 3 collectors edition have been nice. halo,bioshock and now Assassin Creed.\\^_^/

Man, LEs are shaping up now! If they keep it up we'll have lots of LEs that are worth having! I'm not buying the Assassin's creed LE, though.The game doesn't interest me enough to warrant a purchase. I'm buying GH3 instead.

I was going to pre-order this, but then noticed on Ubi's shop/site that you can pre-order the PS3/360 version with the artbook & bonus dvd, so I'll go for that one. Although clicking on the link for the PS3 /360 game shows a picture of the PC version. You can also buy the figurine for £30.
