Does anyone know if you can use the Expansion Module #1 for Colecovision on an Adam Computer? This is the expansion module that plays 2600 games. I have the Adam computer with the colecovision built in, not the expansion module that attaches to the the colecovision. Any help would be great! Thanks.

No...I don't believe there's any Expansion Module interface on the ADAM...or is there? You can use Expansion Module #2 (the steering wheel) with it, so perhaps you can.
EDIT: Nevermind...the steering wheel doesn't use the interface, so forget that.

The Adam computer does have an interface that you can attach expansion modules to. Just don't want to spend money on the expansion module and not be able to use it.

I have a Coleco ADAM ("standalone" computer version), and the Atari 2600 expansion module. I've plugged the 2600 module into the ADAM, and it indeed worked, although it's a tad awkward to use since it's meant to plug into the front of a Colecovision. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the tip. I would think if it worked on the stand alone computer, it would work on the complete adam computer.

Thanks for the offer on the module, actually can get one in St. Louis for $12.95, plus I get to go game hunting in the big city. I guess Im going to take the chance it will work on the adam computer, now I can't wait to get to St. Louis.

The 2600 Expansion Module doesn't really use the Colecovision in any way. It just receives +9V power (I think it's 9V, I've never tested it, could be +5V) on one pin and passes back composite video and mono audio on two others. I suppose it's possible those needed pins aren't connected on the ADAM, but that's seems unlikely and even if they aren't you could mod the Expansion Module into a neat little stand-alone 2600 system anyway.
