Emulator question. Don't bite my head off

Okay, just to be clear.. I'm not asking for someone to direct me to a place to download roms. I'm not even asking about roms..

So, here's my question. This is referring to NES emulators. Me and my friend like to play NES games together through the computer, since we live miles and miles away. Well, playing two player games was fun, but we want to do something else.

On the old ZSnes there was a Netplay where you could connect to your peer, and when you were connected, you were able to switch which user controlled the first player controller. You could do this in the middle of playing te game. So you could play one player games and take turns with your friend.

Well, that's what I want to do with NES. My question is... are there any NES emulators that support that kind of Netplay feature?

I think you should re-read YOUR whole post. No where in there do you mention you use Nestopia. The only one you mention is ZSNES and that you and a friend play NES games over the computer but no mention of what emulator you use.

This might be a case of "thinking it too loud" and not typing it. I hate it when that happens :D .

He's not asking which NES emulator has Netplay, he's asking about a specific Netplay option. The need for Reading Rainbow has never been stronger. :P

Sorry if my post was phrased in a confusing way. But that's what I'm looking for. An NES emulator with that specific Netplay feature. Not just Netplay.

Thing is I'm not familiar with Nestopia and the others before me mentioned it. Veepa said he uses it and said we should read his whole post. Without knowing if Nestopia had such a feature or not, it looked to me like it was a possible snide comment. I reread the post a few times before I posted. I was trusting more of what the earlier posters said.

I wasn't making a snide comment, geez. I was telling the guy to re-read the post so he could see what I'm really look for. Almost every NES emulator has Netplay, that's not what I was asking for.

Back on topic, please... Does anyone know of an NES emulator that allows you to switch which user is controlling the first player controller back and forth?

I've looked around a little and can't seem to find any information on a feature like that. You might be out of luck. :(
