WTF was that? The dude talking was kinda a douche. What the hell is up with the character design and shit ass story? Nope never heard of a "loose cannon" being broke out of jail to save the world. But limited and watched over at first. Nope, never. The arm design looks pretty damn cool. But, the hip ass X-treme dude with dreadlocks aint cutting it.

Just write a story that involves someone related to Radd or Joe. Or, bring someone out of retirement. Guess this one will be fighting with the new Guilty Gear for Bargain Bin space.

What is it wih people making sequels that are unrelated to the originals? Drives me crazy. Can't say I have a good feeling either. If nothing else, those kickass tunes from the NES version better be present in some form.

Capcom has released the official trailer. It's in HD so those of you on 56k may wanna search for an SD version.

I agree with you on the design of the character. He looks and sounds similar to a certain man who has the last name of 'Snake'.

As for the gameplay itself, it looks like it's going to be very similar to the original series in terms of how the Bionic Arm is going to be used. What got me was that the swing action in the trailer resembled stuff that I had seen in the "Spider-Man" games, although that's not really a bad thing.

If anything, I'm just disappointed in the character design. He looks too normal and not 'heroic' enough. The Bionic Arm design is really original, but I kind of prefer the older styled "Radd"/"Radd Spencer" version, where it wasn't really a full arm which took the place of the wearer's original, flesh & bone arm and more of a forearm attachment, which was also similar to what the character "Longarm" from the COPS Comic Book and Animated Series had.

From what I've seen so far, the only thing that really excites me is the soundtrack. I want to own that theme song so badly.

Yeah, they never bothered to change some of that stuff. You have him saying damn and his head blowing up. It's like Nintendo's censors didn't finish the game or something :D

There was a rom hack called Bionic Commando '99 that restored the censored stuff if you want to see what's different.

Nine games out of ten have such bad stories that I ignore them anyway, so I'm oddly indifferent at the horrible display of 'badittude' here. I just hope the gameplay is as fun as it looks.

Ad if Capcom is smart, they'll name the terrorists the Nazz's.
